The TATA IPL 2025 is officially back after a brief suspension caused by cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has now released the revised IPL 2025 schedule, with the tournament set to resume on May 17th, and the grand final scheduled for June 3rd.

The action comes after the week-long suspension that followed the ‘derailed’ game between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala which was halted due to an airspace violation in the vicinity. With the proclamation of a ceasefire, the BCCI acted quickly in collaboration with federal agencies and other necessary bodies to ensure the uninterrupted continuation of the cricket extravaganza.

Originally, cities like Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Dharamsala were expected to host several games. However, due to security risks and weather forecasts, the BCCI has limited the league matches to;

Punjab Kings, in particular, lose out on their home advantage, as their matches in Dharamsala are now moved to Jaipur.
